Dear NDDGC Members,
Unfortunately, as I’m sure you are all aware, the Government has announced a 2nd Lockdown. We are waiting to hear from British Gymnastics to confirm that the Gym must close. In the meantime, we can give you the following update:
- Caddsdown classes will continue until we are instructed to stop. However, currently we think that we will be running classes up to and including Wednesday 4th November. We will confirm this once we have received British Gymnastics’ advice.
- Any NEW classes that haven’t started yet, ie Wednesday Preschool/Recreation at Caddsdown, Bude classes and the additional Squad & Friday evening class are to be postponed until after the new lock down period. This hasn’t been an easy decision but we feel it will be less confusing to gymnasts to start when it’s safe to do so, rather than doing 1 session then stopping for the next 4 weeks. Also, as the confirmed cases of Covid-19 are rising in the area, we would like to prevent unnecessary travel and the mixing of new bubbles of gymnasts.
- Class fees for sessions missed due to lockdown will be credited to Gymnasts’ accounts. Please contact me by email at membership@northdevongymnastics.org.uk with any questions. Please do not respond through Facebook or Messenger.
Emails will be going out to all gymnasts reiterating the message above. Can I please ask you to share this information with any Members who are not on Facebook and ask them to check their email and, if necessary, their junk folders. If anyone is not receiving our emails, please check your junk folder and add our email to your safe senders list – it is very important at the moment as we may have information to share quickly. (I have details of how to do this for Hotmail, live.co.uk and btinternet.com if you need them.)
