NDDGC Reopening January 2021

Dear Members

Following the Government’s lifting of Lockdown and the introduction of the new tiered Covid restrictions, the Trustees of NDDGC have been discussing the options for reopening.

We were hoping to reopen in December, however, the continuing Covid situation in the local area – Year Groups and smaller bubbles self-isolating and the closure of whole schools – will affect our Members as well as Coaching staff and their families, making operating the gym club very difficult.

Because of this, we feel that it is advisable to remain closed during December and restart classes on 4th January.

We appreciate that this will be disappointing news but we feel for a number of reasons, including those mentioned above as well as consistency of coaching and Member and Coach safety, that it is the best option.

We would like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year and will be in touch soon to reconfirm class times and start dates for the new year.

Kind regards

The Trustees
